Ann & Tony: Majestic Rhine & Moselle Rivers 2019<\/h3>

We really enjoyed our second tour with Michael and Audrey. The Moselle region was our favourite \u2013 the riverside campsites were good, and the towns were only a short distance away with clear instructions of how to access them. We would happily recommend MandA Tours and will travel again with you.<\/p><\/div>

Janet & Martin: Amazing Alpine Roads 2019<\/h3>

This was our first trip with Michael and Audrey and we didn\u2019t really know what to expect and were concerned that we wouldn\u2019t get to see much \u2013 but we shouldn\u2019t have worried. Having the shorter journeys between campsites meant we could stop with the motorhome at many of the main attractions, or with bus stops close to all sites, we could use public transport or take bikes to the other attractions. We saw everything we wanted to and at our own pace.<\/p>

<\/p>

<\/p>

Having the benefit of travelling with both a German – and English – speaking couple was added security if there was to be any problems. The route we took was just amazing \u2013 the Bavarian countryside and mountains are so beautiful and there was so much to see and do. This has to go on everyone\u2019s bucket list. It was just fabulous. We will definitely go to the area again but not before we do another tour with Michael and Audrey.<\/p>

Colin & Jane: Stunning Norway 2024<\/h3>

We loved the scenery, stave churches, ferries, tunnels and fjords. The road book was full of excellent information on places to stop and visit.<\/p>

Our highlights were:<\/p>

  1. the Jostedal national park, the hike to the tail of the glacier and the museum there<\/li>
  2. our pitch at our campsite on Lovatnet Lake, the boat trip on the lake and hiring the Twizzy E car to explore the area.<\/li><\/ol><\/div>

    Colin & Jane: Discover Denmark 2024<\/h3>

    Until we came on this tour, we never realised Denmark was such an interesting and beautiful country, rich in history, spectacular castles, stunning coastline, fabulous food, especially the seafood and the street food scene is fantastic. Highlights were the west and northern coasts of Jutland and Skagen.<\/p>

    The roadbook was full of ideas and places to visit enroute making this a true \u201ctouring holiday\u201d. We love the choice of campsites, and their locations were perfect for the areas we visited. To conclude the \u201cDelightful Denmark\u201d tour was truly delightful.<\/p><\/div>

    This is our second time travelling with MandA Tours and once again the tour was very well organized. The route, welcome dinner and highlights were excellent and we had plenty of opportunity to visit places on route, because the driving distances between stops were kept to a minimum. Most of all we enjoyed the friendliness and availability of our tour guide Michael who always provided extra information when required.<\/p><\/div>

    As it was our first time on the continent with the van, we found Michael to be very helpful, reassuring and supportive. We now feel able go it alone, but will do another tour – just need to decide which one! We enjoyed the company of the others on the tour.<\/p><\/div>

    Tricia and Alan: Stunning Norway 2022<\/h3>

    Overall, this was a stunning tour. The scenery was amazing even if the weather let us down at the highest point! We had seen some amazing sites & views. The boat trip at Flam was definitely a good choice, although the railway was good too. In fact, we enjoyed the Flam stop altogether. There were many high spots between waterfalls and lakes and scenery in this tour!<\/p>

    We liked visiting towns\/cities too. Bergen and Oslo were good to include, but we feel that you don\u2019t need to give 2 days to Oslo. \u201cCustomers\u201d can add a day on themselves if they want and that will give you an extra day to use beforehand. We did like the good balance between 1 and 2 day stops. It gave us a chance to just enjoy being where we were \u2013 as well as to catch up on essentials. The meal in the restaurant on site at Douvre was really nice and we got the chance to eat local dishes. It would have been nice to have done this somewhere else as well.<\/p>

    Finally, we\u2019d just like to say thank you again for a spectacular tour and hope to travel with you again in the future.<\/p><\/div>

    The tour was organized very well which made the whole trip very comfortable.\u00a0We felt welcome from the moment we met Michael in Calais and throughout the two weeks. The tour was excellent in all respects and we cannot fault any part of it<\/p>

    Each destination you offered us gave us a unique experience with highlights. \u2013 Plitvice Lakes, Krka National Park and the boat trip at Cetina Canyon. On a personal level we prefer smaller towns such as Rovinj and Trogir over the larger cities.<\/p><\/div>

    „Amazing“ really does describe this tour – the scenery was stunning!<\/p>

    After having travelled with MandA Tours last year on the tour to the Rhine and Moselle, we wanted to see some other part of Germany. As we gained a lot of confidence during last year’s trip, we decided this year that we would not need the Calais pick-up service and we ,made our own way to the start of the tour.<\/p>

    Knowing from last year the amount of detail you put into the roadbook, including the GPS coordinates for the large variety of things to do, we were very much looking forward to this trip, and we were not to be disappointed. As last year we travelled with some lovely people, and the care and attention you gave us during the tour was outstanding. Thanks to you Mel achieved his ambition of driving a 24% incline!<\/p>

    We hope to travel with you again next year, probably to Spain.<\/p>

    The general organisation of the tour was very helpful and we were impressed by Michael, who was always available and understanding of our needs. He knew the region very well and with his language skills was always ready to help. The roadbook was excellent and included all the information about the campsites, directions, points of interest and we liked not having to think and plan for ourselves.     The tour was excellent, the booking process easy, the information material supplied was comprehensive, the campsites of a high quality and the highlights enjoyable.<\/p>

    The Welcome dinner during the first evening allowed us to get to know the other members of the group at the beginning of the tour, who were all very friendly. We liked the great campsites chosen by MandA Tours, especially as the on site restaurants gave us the opportunity to try a glass of local German beer in the evening after a full day sightseeing.<\/p>

    We especially liked the boat trip on Lake K\u00f6ngissee with its amazing scenery and the typical Bavarian meal in the brewery on lake Tegernsee.<\/p>

    We would highly recommend MandA Tours and are thinking of joining the Italian Lakes & Cities tour next year.<\/p>

    We liked the road book with all the information about places of interest and also the sat-nav coordinates were very helpful. We particularly liked Bacharach and the fisher quarter of Saarburg.<\/p>

    The highlights of the tour for us were being able to visit Trier and the \u201cRhine in Flames\u201d which was excellent. We wanted to finish off our holiday of 6 years ago which we had to cut short due to breakdown problems. On this tour we have seen some lovely sights and great villages which in all honesty we would never have known about or visited without the information given to us by Michael.<\/p><\/div>

    This was our second tour with Michael & Audrey. They are so friendly, knowledgable, professional and approachable and their communication skills are excellent. We particularly liked that the driving distances were kept low, allowing us plenty of time to sightsee or relax at the campsites. We really enjoyed the company of the friendly and supportive group. Our favorite place was the Lake Orta site and we will definitely return there. The campsites and their locations were excellent. The roadbook was very detailed, which meant that we did and saw things on the tour that we would not have known about had we been left to our own resources.<\/p>

    This is our second tour with MandA Tours and just like our first we had a wonderful time. The attention to detail on places to visit was brilliant, as Michael and Audrey had done all the hard work it just left us to relax and enjoy. Our visit to the Hymer Plant and Museum along with the Wine tasting, Brewery and Stein tours was great as we had our own personal translator Michael with us.<\/div>

    The Rhine in Flames evening was a highlight as was the meal and wine-tasting in Trier. Michael was a very friendly, approachable and helpful tour leader and was much appreciated by the group. The welcome dinner was excellent and the evening helped everyone to get to know each other and the group gelled very quickly.<\/p>

    Given that the tour covers most of the country, 3 weeks allowed enough non-travelling days to either relax or visit additional places. The campsites were excellent with good provisions for those with mobility issues.<\/p>

    Denmark resembles England in many respects, except it is less crowded and feels more relaxed. Most of the population speak excellent English which gives added confidence when travelling alone. Credit cards are widely used. It also greatly helped that the weather was hot and sunny for all but a few days through MandA perhaps cannot take all the credit for this \ud83d\ude0a<\/p><\/div>

As this was our first time motorhoming in Europe, the information and their expertise were invaluable to us.<\/div>

    During the tour, some members of the group encountered motorhome or health problems. Audrey & Michael went out of their way to help resolve the issues. Nothing was too much trouble for them.<\/div>

    This tour had a very good ratio of 2-night stops. We felt the Boat trip through the Naeroyfjord was excellent and we enjoyed the scenery. Think this tour should be later, as certain things are not yet open for summer! Need more opportunity to mix with other tourers when in a colder climate as we, otherwise, retreat to our mohos. Lillehammer deserves more time \u2013 there is so much there \u2013 but I know it is a balancing act always.<\/p><\/div>

    I have so many lovely memories of this tour that it is hard to know where to begin. As a solo traveller, I think the balance between being able to do your own thing and having great company and comradeship is absolutely perfect.     The driving distances and non-driving days have been very well considered, and there have been several surprise experiences included in the tour.     Alice & Clive: Impressive Italian Lakes & Cities 2018<\/h3>

    This was our 3rd<\/sup> tour with MandA tours and this time we particularly enjoyed the low daily driving distances and the location of the campsites. We often had lakeside pitches with spectacular views over the lakes and mountains and on the larger lakes the campsites had been chosen so that is was easy to use the ferries to get from one island or town to another. The tour included an excellent wine-tasting and meal at a vineyard and we stayed overnight at their own aire which had full motorhome facilities and a swimming pool which the group could use freely. The last 3 nights were spent on Lake Garda making it a nice relaxing way to end the tour.<\/p><\/div>

    Great tour!!!<\/p>

    The tour was well organised and we visited some great places during the two weeks. We particularly appreciated the support and help from Michael during the tour as he was always there to help when needed. In our case we had a problem with our fresh water tank and Michael made many phone calls (in German) and resolved our problem. Even before the tour started he gave us suggestions of sites to stay at on our way from the UK to the beginning of the tour and sites on our way back from Austria.<\/p>

    The sites we stayed at during the tour had first class facilities and restaurants where we had several enjoyable lunches and dinners, often together with other members of the group who were all very friendly.<\/p>

    The overall organization and planning of the tour made for very smooth running. The group size was ideal, and there was plenty of time for group interaction. The \u201cRhine in Flames\u201d evening was excellent and we saw the most impressive display of fireworks we have ever seen.<\/p>

    On our way home, we tried to find a campsite in the Monschau area close to the town centre or on a bus route and marvelled (again) at the time that Michael must take in doing just that for every campsite. To say nothing about giving us exact coordinates to find it! I know it’s part of the service but it’s only now having had to do it for ourselves that we really appreciate the ease with which we have travelled!<\/p>

One of the many highlights was the Rhine Falls of Schaffhausen in Switzerland and being able to swim in the Rhine at Stein am Rhein!     The tour was well planned and gave plenty of options to visit sights you would not normally see. There were choices to suit different personal circumstances. Having M+A supporting the tour gave help with language and booking together with knowledge of local area \u2013 where to park etc.<\/p>

    We are mostly independent motorhomers \u2013 but this trip gave us a \u2018feet-up\u2019 approach with research done, questions answered, right through to reserving the best sites and pitches. Would definitely recommend.<\/p><\/div>

    The highlights of the tour for us were the visits to the three stunning National Parks. We particularly enjoyed walking through Plitvice and seeing the unique terraced turquoise lakes and numerous impressive waterfalls. The tour also included many wonderful coastal scenic drives and through wild rugged landscapes. We had the opportunity to visit a good number of cities and small coastal town with many interesting ancient sites. In summary the tour offered a good mix to suit everyone\u2019s interests. If we decide to do another motorhome tour, we would definitely book with MandA tours in preference to other touring companies because we find Michael and Audrey\u2019s personal attention helpful and reassuring. Timeless Tuscany would be of interest as it is an area we haven\u2019t visited.<\/span><\/div><\/div>

    The tour was excellent from the booking process and service before the tour, through to the campsites, information material and highlights. The Moselle Valley in particular was beautiful.<\/p>

    Michael, our tour leader, showed great commitment to organising and would „go the extra mile“ to assist with any problems (in our case finding new tyres at a garage on route after a puncture)! His knowledge and suggestions always meant we would have an interesting day.<\/p>

    The whole holiday has been amazing. There was so much to see, beautiful scenery, cultural points of interest and lots of things to do. The campsites were always carefully selected.<\/p>

    Very enjoyable tour, we would have preferred to miss Milan site and visit another lake (Como). Perhaps Milan could have been visited by bus or train from another site, but that has not spoilt our overall enjoyment of the tour.<\/p>

    We liked the campsites, the scenery and the short drives. Of all the great campsite restaurants, we especially liked the restaurant at the campsite in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.     This was our second tour with MandA Tours and introduced us to a country which we haven’t toured in before. We came to see Italian Lakes and were certainly not disappointed. For us the highlights were using the ferries, most of which called in near the selected campsites and enabled us to visit some of the beautiful islands, towns and botanical gardens in other parts of the lakes.     We were interested in the Rhine Tour for our first visit to Europe in the Motorhome. All the planning and site booking had been done for us and we just had to follow the instructions. We were also keen to have a point of contact and assistance if anything were to go wrong.\u00a0It was fascinating to arrive at the Aachen site and meet, for the first time, 20 people with whom we would spend the next two weeks. We felt very fortunate that it was such an interesting and friendly group. Everyone did their best to create a pleasant and supportive atmosphere.<\/p>

    Michael and Audrey are very experienced motorhome users and were excellent hosts and guides. The \u201cRoad Book\u201d issued prior to the start of the tour is a well-produced document and was a constant reference for us. We appreciated M&A\u2019s presence at each site as we arrived knowing that all the formalities had been sorted out and we were able just to park and hook up. Throughout the tour, they engaged with all the guests, individually and collectively, to make sure any issues were addressed, they were always eager and willing to help.<\/p>

    We enjoyed the tour immensely. Although we sometimes felt a little hurried with the \u201cone night\u201d stops, we appreciate that this was a well worked compromise to avoid too much time on the road. We particularly enjoyed the pitches by the river which M&A had booked 12 months previously. If we had come on our own, we could never had booked those pitches.<\/p>

    There was excellent advice in the \u201cRoad Book\u201d of places of interest along the way between sites. We did not make full use of this; usually being late to leave, and also a little nervous of straying too far from the recommended route. The additional wine tasting organised by M&A, and not in the itinerary, was an excellent bonus. We bought some excellent wine on their recommendation.<\/p><\/div>

    This is the second time we have rented a motorhome and travelled with MandA Tours. It was a stunning tour! Fabulous scenery, fabulous lakes and picturesque towns. We thoroughly enjoyed it \ud83d\ude42<\/p>

    We especially liked the pace of this tour with several 2 night stops giving us time to explore the areas we visited. We loved visiting both smaller as well as larger lakes with the different towns and cities along their shores. The added opportunities to explore islands by boat was a treat! We also thought that visiting Milan was a good addition midway to give a different perspective and we enjoyed having the guided tour as we learnt so much more. Our personal opinion is that we would have preferred to stay more time in the mountain areas and less time in the city areas \u2013 for example, we think that Oslo is possible to do in one day. We were slightly critical about the ferry crossing and the business of it, but we understand that there was nothing you could have done about it. Surely one of the highlights of the tour was the amazing day we had in Flam with the Fjord cruise in the morning.     Denmark was not a place we had thought to visit on our own, but this trip has been wonderful and opened our eyes to how amazing Denmark and its people are. We will definitely come back if we can in the future. We would have needed more time at some locations and perhaps a 3 week tour would be better.<\/p>

    All our expectations for the tour were well and truly exceeded. We were delighted with the quality of the sites and the friendliness of the people. With the forward planning every day has offered exceptional opportunities to discover so much about each area ,more than we could ever have hoped to achieve on our own. The help and support from Michael has been exceptional. Travelling as a group has been enjoyable, whilst at the same time it was ideal to be able to visit attractions of our own choice and at our own pace.<\/p>

    The country and scenery are absolutely stunning, but the coast road does not make for relaxing driving. The towns along the way are well worth a visit. Health issues prevented us from walking in the countryside and from climbing stairs which was obviously limiting in a mountainous country and walled cities. As a result, we sought parking close to places we wanted to visit but this was not always possible due to the increasing number of places restricting motorhome parking and the popularity of attractions. Weekend might mean roads are quieter but can make parking more difficult. However, we enjoyed the tour which took us to places we would not otherwise have visited and as this is our sixth tour with MandA, we obviously like the ethos.<\/span><\/div><\/div>

We really enjoyed our visit to the flower growing region and Michael\u2019s knowledge enabled us to get an excellent position to watch the flower parade at Noordwyk.     Two very attentive and multilingual tour guides for whom nothing was too much trouble. Most questions answered from their own knowledge and experience, and if they did not know they would find out, allowing the clients to concentrate on holiday making,<\/p>

    This tour was a great taste of the Italian lakes and highlighted areas, we would like to return to for a longer stay. The views from the Iseo campsite were fabulous and most of the sites were within a reasonable walking distance of the local towns. We know some enjoyed the city side of the tour, but our personal preference would have been for extra days at the smaller lakes as an alternative. But as we have already discussed, you can\u2019t please all the people all the time! Overall we have had a great time and Luna (the dog) really enjoyed herself too!<\/p><\/div>

We really appreciate now the variety on offer along the Northern Spanish Coastal area: magnificent ancient buildings, picturesque old towns, stunning mountains and national parks\u2026. and beautiful beaches! We would certainly like to return sometime to spend more time exploring this area. We particularly enjoyed the towns \/ cities of San Sebastian, Burgos, Santillana des Mar and Santiago de Compostela.     This was our third tour with Michael and Audrey \u2013 and once again a delightful tour! We really enjoyed the company of the lovely, friendly and supportive group of like-minded motorhome travellers. The campsites were ideally situated for the many suggested points of interest along the route. Our favorite area was Galicia located in the north-west of the Iberian Peninsula where we visited Cape Finisterre, A Coruna and Santiago de Compostela, although we also loved the vast beaches in Asturias and the gorgeous city of San Sebastian. A high point (literally) of the tour was driving through the Picos de Europa snow-capped mountains. The road book was very detailed which meant that we did and saw things on the tour that we would not have known about had we been left to our own resources.<\/p><\/div>
