Two weeks ago we returned from our\u00a0\u00a0\u201cMajestic Rhine & Moselle Rivers\u201d<\/a>\u00a0tour, the last tour before our summer break. We had a fantastic two weeks with a great group of people, while driving along the most beautiful parts of the Rhine and Moselle rivers. We had perfect weather for the fireworks during Rhine in Flames, one of the highlights every year on this tour, from the open deck of the \u201cK\u00f6nigin Silvia\u201d, the boat shown in the above photograph. Towards the end of the tour the whole group also enjoyed an evening at a vineyard on the Moselle. After visiting the wine cellar, we were treated to a delicious meal and tried (and bought) many of the excellent wines\u00a0produced at the vineyard.

In a previous newsletter we sent out our\u00a0\u00a02020 touring programme and would like to thank everybody who has already taken the opportunity to book one or more tours for next year. As expected our new\u00a0\u201cCaptivating Croatia\u201d<\/a>\u00a0tour is very popular!

We will be presenting our 2020 touring programme officially to the general public at the\u00a0Western Motorhome Show in Malvern<\/a>, that will take place from\u00a016th – 18th AUGUST 2019 at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern. If you have never been to this show, it has a Country and Western theme and last year more than 3,000 motorhomes spent the weekend in the camping grounds in the beautiful Malvern Hills. There are more than 250 trade stands, large displays of European and American motorhomes a \u2018Lonestar Re-enactment\u2019 area, and an authentic Wild West living display. If after a full day at the show, you still have enough energy, there is also a huge array of fantastic live evening entertainment!\u00a0We look forward to meeting many of our customers there and any one who may still be undecided about joining an escorted tour. Come and visit us on our stand no. 92 and we can have a chat about our tours.

After the Malvern Show, we will have one week in the office before leaving for our\u00a0\u201cBreathtaking Black Forest\u201d<\/a> and\u00a0\u201cImpressive Italian Lakes and Cities\u201d<\/a> tours in September. This year the tours are fully booked but both will be available again next year but at different times of the year. The Italy tour will take place at the beginning of May when\u00a0temperatures are comfortable, there are fewer crowds and the fabulous gardens that line the shores are at their best. The Black Forest tour will take place in July directly after the Rhine & Moselle tour. This enables anybody interested, to combine both tours and spend four weeks touring some of the most beautiful parts of Germany.

If you are not able to make it to the Western Motorhome Show in August, we will also have a stand, as every year, at the\u00a0Motorhome & Caravan Show at the NEC in Birmingham that this year takes place from 15th<\/sup>\u2013 20th<\/sup>\u00a0October and have already booked our pitch at the temporary campsite. The camp site will not be as large as in previous years, so if you are thinking of staying there for a night or two, we suggest you\u00a0book your pitches early on the website of the Caravan and Motorhome Club<\/a>.
