Last weekend we returned from a week away in the motorhome. We had planned to go to the Erzgebirge (Ore Mountains), but Audrey visited family for three days shortly before we wanted to leave and unfortunately on her return Aer Lingus managed to lose her suitcase and we had to wait 3 days for it to be finally returned. This meant we didn\u2019t have enough time to travel all the way to Seiffen for the miners\u2019 parade, so instead, we decided to go along Germany\u2019s Romantic Road<\/a> and visit the Christmas markets in W\u00fcrzburg, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Coburg, and some other smaller towns. The above picture was taken at the Stellplatz in R\u00f6ttingen located directly next to the Tauber River. When we travel on our own, we often use Aires\/Stellplatz, but on our tours we always use good campsites, and would only spend a night at an Aire, if for example we have a wine tasting at a vineyard, so that we do not have to drive afterwards.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

We would like to thank everybody who has booked tours so far this year. As usual some customers have booked two tours but for the first time ever, we have received bookings from one customer for four consecutive tours giving them 9 weeks of European travel. They will be coming with us to „Scenic Switzerland<\/a>“ and to the „Picturesque Provence<\/a>„, which are back-to-back, then they have a week to meander through France, Luxemburg and\/or Belgium up to Aachen for the start of the „Majestic Rhine & Moselle Rivers<\/a>“ and then the „Breathtaking Black Forest<\/a>“ tour.<\/p>\n

We still have limited availability on most of the tours for next year and if you are interested in booking, please remember that the Early Bird Discount is only available until the end of the year and that all bookings will be taken on a first come first served basis.<\/p>\n

Finally, we would like to wish all our customers, past and present, a very merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and peaceful new year. We would also like to thank everyone who travelled with us in 2022 and especially those customers who have already booked for next year – we are looking forward to another exciting year of motorhome travel and to meeting our loyal customers and the many new customers during the trips next year!<\/p>\n
