On Saturday we finished our \u201cMajestic Rhine and Moselle Rivers<\/a>\u201d Tour. We were blessed with good weather almost every day, but unfortunately, we had a bit of rain during the boat trip for the Rhine in Flames fireworks. Luckily it stopped just before the firework displays started, so that we could enjoy this spectacular event from the open deck of our illuminated boat. During our wine tasting we had an unexpected bonus, as it was the evening when the new wine princess of Trier was presented to the press. We got to meet her, and she spoke to the members of our group during our tour of the wine cellar, beautifully decorated with candles.<\/p>\n

When everybody left yesterday, some went home directly and others who were lucky to have more time available, stopped in Ypres to see the last post at the Menin gate or went off to other destinations. As we often do, we had a lovely dog on our tour and the owners were glad that we helped them to make an appointment at the vet near Calais close to a campsite we were able to recommend to them. At the end of a tour, we always can recommend a vet either close to the last campsite of the tour or at one near Calais or any of the other ports used by our customers. As we also speak French making an appointment is no problem.<\/p>\n

At the end of every tour, we ask our customers to give us feedback on their holiday. To give you an idea of what people say here are three reviews from this year\u2019s Rhine and Moselle tour:<\/p>\n

\u201cThis was our 3rd<\/sup>\u00a0tour with MandA. Our guides had done an excellent job of planning and organising the whole holiday, which left us more time to enjoy the sites we visited. I am sure we would have missed a lot of beautiful places if left on our own. The Rhine in flames was magical, the R\u00fcdesheimer coffee superb and the wine tasting great fun. Excellent memories. \u201cFirstly, we want to thank you for a wonderful holiday. It has gone beyond expectations for both of us in what we have seen and done and for all the support provided. We have particularly enjoyed the POI\u2019s along the way, things we would likely have missed if not so clearly identified in the Day Book. The Rhine in Flames and the wine tasting evening were definitely a highlight. We are keen to explore other Manda Tours.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the first time with MANDA TOURS and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. A well thought out itinerary giving us a good introduction to Germany. The tour gave a good balance of escorted activity and time for us to explore.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

We have already received a number of bookings for this tour next year, and we are sure it will fill up very quickly. We now only have 3 tours left for this touring season. The \u201cDelightful Danube<\/a>\u201d and the „Andalusian Adventure<\/a>\u201d cannot be booked anymore, but if you would like to book the \u201cAmazing Alpine Roads<\/a>\u201d tour you need to decide soon and book by Friday 28th<\/sup>\u00a0of July!<\/a><\/p>\n
