After 5 weeks touring Denmark and Norway, we arrived home ten days ago and as usual had lots of washing and other housework to do, as well as office work before leaving for our “Majestic Rhine & Moselle Rivers” and “Breathtaking Black Forest” tours. We also used this time to create two new “tour impressions” for the “Discover Denmark” and “Stunning Norway” tours, so that you can enjoy these two tours virtually and get a taste of what it would be like to join us on one of these tours in the future. Everyone on the tours had a great time including the two couples that joined us for both tours, and really enjoyed the two very different countries. Most of the time we were blessed with good weather and this time of the year is perfect to travel to Scandinavia as the summer holidays have not yet started, and it was therefore less touristy. In Norway we could see waterfalls in full power with the melting snow causing them to swell under and we had very long days to enjoy the scenery. On our most northerly point in Åndalsnes we were still able to sit outside and enjoy the sun at midnight, as it was close to midsummer.
As the tours were such a success, we decided that we will offer them again in 2024 at the same time of the year (May/June) but we will extend the “Discover Denmark” tour by a week, as several of our customers would have liked to stay longer at certain places to see everything this great country has to offer. If anyone would then like to book both tours, they will have 6 weeks in Scandinavia, as the “Stunning Norway” tour is already a 3-week tour.
After the three days at home, we started our “Majestic Rhine & Moselle Rivers” tour with a great group of people in 11 motorhomes and will follow this tour directly with our “Breathtaking Black Forest” tour. As both tours are always very popular and fill up quickly, please do not hesitate to book now to secure your place on one or both of the tours next year.
We still have limited availability on two of our tours in the second half of this year. If you would like to join us on our popular “Impressive Italian Lakes and Cities” tour, which takes place in the second half of September, please do not hesitate to contact us. Although this tour has been in our touring programme almost every year, we will not be offering it in 2023, so don’t miss this great chance. Booking for Italy will close end of July (availability permitting). We also have limited availability on our new “Andalusian Adventure” tour which takes place in November. Booking for this tour will close end of September!
