Digital Show – Day 4: “Discover Denmark”

  • by

Historic town Denmark

As the Motorhome & Caravan Show would have started on Tuesday, we have decided to do our own small version in a digital format and every day this week we will send you a short email with information about a particular tour. If you are interested in this (or any other tour), please do not hesitate to contact us with your questions – we would be happy to send you more information.

Our new “Discover Denmark” tour starts in Ribe. It is Denmark’s oldest city and has a stunning and well-preserved old town. We then follow the coast, passing beautiful beaches and can visit the seal banks in the Wadden Sea National Park, the “Man Meets the Sea” sculpture in Esbjerg or the Blåvandshuk lighthouse. We continue along the coast direction Skagen. Stop at the Rubjerg Knude lighthouse, which sits on a moving sand dune, in Hirtshals and visit the Aquarium, or have a meal in one of the numerous fish restaurants. In Skagen, the group will take a tractor bus ride to Grenen, the most northly tip of Denmark, where the Baltic meets the North Sea. We then move inland and visit Aalborg and Arhus, towns that both date back to Viking times. Our next stop is on the island of Funen, renowned for its pretty villages and sandy beaches. Visit Odense, the birthplace and hometown of Hans Christian Andersen or the charming Egeskov castle in the south of the Island.  We then drive across the Storebælt to the Zealand island and in Roskilde we visit the Viking museum and take a trip on a Nordic boat. Here you will also find some of Denmark’s finest beaches and most impressive castles. We spend the final few days of the tour in Copenhagen and have plenty of time to see all the sights.

This year has been hard for everybody, but we are optimistic that things and in particular the situation with Covid-19 will get back to normal next year. We understand, that some of you may be worried about booking a tour due to the current situation, however if we must cancel a tour again next year, any payment you make will be fully reimbursed, as is stated in our terms and conditions. All payments we receive are insured by an insolvency insurance through one of the largest German insurance companies and we send you a secured payment certificate with the booking confirmation. This allows you to book with confidence, knowing that your money is safe under any circumstances.

Stay safe!
