Digital Show – Day 7: “Captivating Croatia”

The Motorhome & Caravan Show would have finished yesterday but we have one last tour to present. If you are interested in this (or any other tour), please do not hesitate to contact us with your questions – we would be happy to send you more information.

Croatia is a country of dramatic mountainous landscapes and dreamy deep-blue seascapes. Its rocky stretch of Adriatic coast is astoundingly beautiful with numerous small pebble coves backed by pinewoods leading to the crystal-clear turquoise sea. Croatia also has 7 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the historic centres of Dubrovnik and Split and the cathedrals in Trogir and Sibenik, all of which can be visited during the tour. We start our “Captivating Croatia” tour in the ancient Roman town of Poreč where we can visit the famous basilica. We drive along scenic coastal roads and can visit the well-preserved amphitheatre in Pula and explore Krk, Croatia’s largest island, before travelling inland to the Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia’s top natural attraction. This glorious expanse of forested hills and 16 crystalline lakes that tumble into each other via a series of waterfalls and cascades is exquisitely scenic, so much so that in 1979 it also became a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From here we travel back to the coast and can visit the historic town of Zadar, the Krka National Park and Sibenik before arriving in the Trogir region. In Omiš, we take a boat ride through the picturesque Centina canyon and enjoy a meal of local specialities. We finish the tour in the beautiful city of Dubrovnik with its limestone streets, baroque buildings and the endless shimmer of the Adriatic.

This year has been hard for everybody, but we are optimistic that things and in particular the situation with Covid-19 will get back to normal next year. We understand, that some of you may be worried about booking a tour due to the current situation, however if we must cancel a tour again next year, any payment you make will be fully reimbursed, as is stated in our terms and conditions. All payments we receive are insured by an insolvency insurance through one of the largest German insurance companies and we send you a secured payment certificate with the booking confirmation. This allows you to book with confidence, knowing that your money is safe under any circumstances.

Stay safe!
