The above photograph is the Triberger waterfalls, the largest in Germany, looking very spectacular in winter. During our “Breathtaking Black Forest” tour in July, you can visit them during the Summer and as Triberg is also the home of the Black Forest Gateau, you can also spoil yourselves there with a cup of coffee and a delicious piece of the famous cake.
Christmas is almost here, and we hope you will have a relaxing and peaceful time with family and friends. It is a time when many of us will look back on the year gone by and remember wonderful times spent travelling in our motorhomes, visiting great places and making new friends.
The days between Christmas and New Year is also the time when many of you will start thinking about new projects for the upcoming year and is an opportunity to discuss your holiday plans with friends and family and make final decisions on destinations for next year. Last week we also started to discuss our 2026 touring programme and have decided to make quite a few changes and bring back exciting tours our customers have asked for. Once all details have been finalised, we will send out the information in a newsletter. However, this means that several of the tours which are included in our 2025 programme will not be available in 2026.
We will probably start the touring season 2026 with our “Exciting Eastern Germany” tour in April, which means no trip to see the flower parade during our “Springtime in Holland” tour. In May/June we will bring back at least one of our Nordic tours either “Discover Denmark” and/or “Stunning Norway”. This means of course that there will be no room for a repeat of our new tour “Timeless Tuscany” in 2026, which this year takes place from 15th May to 4th June. If you were thinking of joining us on this tour, we still have limited availability and if you book before the end of the year, you can still benefit from the early bird price!
As you probably know, in September 2025, we will be going to the Iberian Peninsula with the “Spectacular Spanish Northern Coast” and “Perfect Portugal” tours. During this time of the year in 2026, we will probably bring back our mountain tours “Scenic Switzerland” and “Amazing Alpine Roads” as we have been requested to do so by several customers. We will be keeping our “Majestic Rhine & Moselle Rivers” in the programme, which is always during the first half of July- However, there are rumours that after 2025, the Rhine in Flames event may no longer take place, which would be a real shame, as it is always spectacular and the highlight of the tour, as anyone that has joined us on the tour will tell you. Our Black Forest tour will also take a year off, as, due to the increasing popularity of motorhoming, it is getting more and more difficult to book campsites in this area for a group of 12 motorhomes during July. On the positive side, we still have limited places available on both tours in 2025, so if you would like to join us on either tour, please do not hesitate too long or you might be out of luck.
Finally, we would like to wish all our customers, past and present, a very merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and peaceful new year. We would also like to thank everyone who travelled with us in 2024 and especially those customers who have already booked for next year – we are looking forward to another exciting year of motorhome travel and to meeting our loyal customers and the many new customers during the trips next year!
